Friendship Belt representing the peaceful relationships between White Settlers and the Iroquois Confederacy. Hill (1989) stated that the belt may represent an invitation belt, "inviting the Confederacy Chiefs to a Council at Philadelphia." This belt, as called The Governor Denny Belt, could have been associated as a covenant belt.
